Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair with light weight and excellent maneuverability. The compact fold using one hand makes it simple to transport. It can also stand on its own when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there's an enormous storage bin and canopy. The suitability for newborns is yes with an additional carrycot.

Air-filled tyres and good suspension will handle rough terrain well. You can also use it for jogging. However, you must wait until the baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.

Ickle Bubba Air

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a brilliant choice for parents who want a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. It comes as a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot for infants, a multi-position forward and rear-facing pushchair seat as well as a choice of a group 0+ car seats, so you can have everything you need in one place.

The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it's received the highest praise from customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg - and it's also easy to put together. In fact I was able to get the whole thing up and running in less than five minutes, which is amazing given that it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a comfortable wide, comfortable seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is easy to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I find it nice that the handle bar comes with a pocket to keep your keys and phone safe.

The handlebar is low, which could be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's coated in a lovely leather-like material that is soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, making it still easy to push with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for active parents who can't wait to go out and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest paths and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked to give you more flexibility. The stroller also features five-point safety harnesses with a front bar that keeps your child safe on every trip. The parking brake keeps the stroller stationary while you take a rest. The comfy seat is easy to lower to a lying position and the canopy can be opened to allow with netting to ensure maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.

The Runner will accompany you on any adventure, whether it's a quick run, a more strenuous hike, or a long-distance walk. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels that provide a smooth ride. The front wheel can be locked for more stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks.  3 wheel buggy  can also fold in order to fit into car boot spaces and storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally the locking system (requiring two buttons on either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is a little higher than some competitors which means it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms however, overall it's an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller worthy of consideration for families with active kids.

Red Kite Push Me moving

Red Kite's Pace is a fantastic product from the budget-friendly British brand. They are renowned for their simple, well-designed products that are essential for parents. It's their newest and most expensive addition to their budget-friendly stroller line. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo, it is car seat compatible so you can use it from the time of birth.

The new Pace features some stunning design elements, including rose-gold hues on the chassis, hood, and stroller trims, which really make it stand out. The stroller and car seat fabrics are fashionable in tan, grey, and cream. You can also add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to match.

It is suitable from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg and the stroller seat easily converts from a carrycot to an reversible 2-in-1 mode that can be facing the parent or the world. The stroller seat features multiple lie-back positions, comfortable padded leg rests, and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections with a view-through flap, and retractable visor.

Furthermore, when folded it's Pace measures 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among others. Two buttons on either side are easy to use and can be clicked into the right position.

Bugaboo Fox 5

Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis, with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it with my two kids - an eight-week-old and a toddler - on rocky pavements, grassy wooded walks and even cobblestones.

The large, puncture-proof wheels - either 22cm or a bit larger - can handle various terrains. The wheels have a flap that can be opened or closed to let more air in when needed. It's slightly larger than most pushchairs, yet it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you push it over bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are easy to wipe down. It's also a lot quieter than many pushchairs and I felt safe using it on busy city streets. A bonus feature is that it comes with accessory points, which means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block wind and rain, although it's not particularly waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. It took about 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and the same amount of time to convert it into the seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge

No matter if you prefer a morning jog in the cool air or a stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a fun-filled adventure. This all-terrain stroller is designed to keep you and your child active.

The massive foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires provide smooth rides regardless of the terrain. The patented suspension allows you to glide over trails with little impact on your child's legs as well as rear. The durable hand brake that is a performance disc lets you to stop quickly, even while jogging downhill.

The Ridge is at its best in every city scene including bustling market stalls for farmers to street musicians performing music. The spacious basket can hold all your essentials and market purchases, while the large canopy offers sun and wind protection. The canopy's large front opens to reveal two mesh peekaboo windows that allow you to observe your baby's surroundings.

The Ridge's reversible seat lets you choose whether your child is facing you or the world ahead. Its simple foot brake system makes it easy for parents who are new. The reversible handlebar is great feature that allows you to adjust it according to your height. The Ridge's fold, in contrast to many jogging strollers is reliable and self-standing when folded.

iCandy Core

iCandy's new pushchair is truly groundbreaking and comes with a host of features that are likely to impress parents. It features a Multi-Mode wheelbase and LED Visibility Hub light, which is the first of its kind in the market. It also has an integrated Ride-on Board, which will save you money in the future and makes it simple for a tired toddler to join your family on outings.

The Core is available as either a travel system or single seat. It works with most popular car seats, such as the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It is the largest seat unit of the iCandy line, meaning you can use it for your baby's first years and beyond. It's a gorgeously constructed pushchair, and it is made of premium knitted fabric. The adjustable handlebar for parents and child's detachable bumper bar are made from soft leatherette, while the folded calf support can be very comfortable for children.

I was impressed with how easy it was to fold and collapse. It only takes one hand with the seat unit attached. It is easily tucked away in your car or hallway and is ideal for travel. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, including an iCandy Core-branded changing rucksack and liner/footmuff.
